Established in 1989, Cinemagic has developed a worldwide reputation for excellence in children’s programming. Over the last 18 years the festival has grown in stature, gained international recognition and we are now the largest festival of our kind in the UK and Ireland. Cinemagic is a festival designed for and by young people. Over the past eighteen years our dedicated Young Film Consultants and Young Juries have helped us create the very best film and workshop programmes as well as shaping the direction and promotion of all festival activities.
